The idea of this course started in my favorite flea market, called Feira da Ladra. The market was full, vibrant again with tourists and locals after being closed for almost two years. The feeling of freedom and gratitude was overwhelming. The simple pleasure of being outside with no masks, together, being able to shop, being able to have a coffee at a terrace with friends was priceless.

We will never forget march 2020 when it all started. What we have lost which of course is intimate and personal and what we have found in this process. A lot happened for me and I discover qualities like resilience, courage, strength, patience that I didn’t know was so strong in me.

Around me I kept hearing how slowing down was a blessing, how the simple pleasures that we took for granted were important. In this course we will create an unique book that will embody the particular moments in our lives that we never forget and that we deeply value.

Step by step we will add unusual elements into our book that will become in the end something very personal and different.
